Technology and software
The institutional period that began with Terminal Ticaret around information and media technologies.
Founder · ChairmanFOUNDER OF KAYIOĞLU HOLDING · FOUNDING PRESIDENT OF THE TURKISH–AFRICAN MEDIA COOPERATION COUNCIL
I develop lasting cooperation in media, technology, investment and culture between Türkiye, the Turkic world and Africa. To me, leadership means taking responsibility on the ground and leaving behind a system that works.
WHO IS MEHMET KAYA?
Mehmet Kaya is the founder and Chairman of Kayıoğlu Holding and the Founding President of the Turkish–African Media Cooperation Council.
His business life, which began in 1992, entered a new phase in 1996 with institutional initiatives in information technology and software. In the following years, it developed into a multi-sector structure through investments in technology, media, advertising, production, broadcasting and digital platforms.
From 2011 onward, investments in media, advertising and production expanded; different companies and capabilities came together under Kayıoğlu Holding in August 2023 with shared management and strategy. Today, the focus is on developing practical cooperation that brings Türkiye’s production and technology experience together with Africa’s local knowledge.
A project’s value is measured not only by what it earns, but by whom it strengthens and the trust it leaves behind.
Stewardship rooted in faith, justice, human dignity, sharing and a responsibility to create benefit.
TECHNOLOGY & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
The technology and software period that began in 1996 developed from enterprise software and automation to social media and digital service platforms.
Early work included systems designed to move services such as E‑Municipality, E‑Water Ordering, E‑Waiter and E‑Ticket into digital environments. They are presented here as historical portfolio information, without claiming they were the first in Türkiye.

Work to digitize service processes through E‑Municipality, E‑Water Ordering, E‑Waiter and E‑Ticket applications.
AFRICAN LEADERSHIP · MEDIA DIPLOMACY
Mehmet Kaya’s approach to Africa is based on co-producing with local institutions in media, technology, investment and culture, taking responsibility on the ground and building mutual trust.
Africa is not a single market. Every country has its own language, institutions and social balance. Lasting success comes not from ready-made formulas, but from approaches that understand local realities and build trust.
The approach therefore focuses not on a conventional investment model that views Africa from a distance, but on understanding local needs, co-producing with public institutions and the private sector, transferring knowledge and capabilities, and turning projects into functioning structures.
A cooperation platform that aims to create common ground for joint production between Türkiye, the Turkic world and Africa through media, communications, culture, arts, education and economic cooperation.

To create space for Africa to tell the stories of its people and culture in its own voice.LEADERSHIP APPROACH
The same decision filter guides every initiative, from African operations to digital platforms.
Understand a place through its people, institutions and daily realities before interpreting reports.
Choose trust, shared responsibility and mutual value over short-term intermediation.
Turn an idea into an executable structure with process, team, technology and finance.
Ensure each project leaves knowledge, skills, employment and decision-making capacity where it operates.
Treat economic sustainability as the carrier of social contribution, not its alternative.
PROJECT PORTFOLIO
Institutional roles, active field projects and ventures under development are clearly separated. Ambitions are never presented as completed achievements.
